What does "open your eyes, the evidence (for god) is all around you" mean?

Nothing will happen and certainly nothing will change. You will simply realize God is within every breathing living organism we have a joy to see, including ourselves. Only then we are able to appreciate and love everything around us. Today most of us with eyes tightly shut speed through live missing what's important - the experience of living.
