Christians: Where in The Bible does it say that any of it is only actually meant metaphorically?

Let me guess, you're a sola scripturist. When Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches," He meant it literally? The bible doesn't assume we're dunces, and have to have every jot and tittle spelled out. God gave us reason, and some deductions are obvious.
